Marcela has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Universidad de Bogota Jorge Tadeo Lozano and specialized in Service Marketing at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, both in Bogotá. She worked for more than 12 years in Telefonica, a telecommunications company that provides products and services for more than 20 countries around the world. Marcela performed several roles including trade marketing and channel support sales, where she created incentive activities, ensured brand compliance for commercial resellers of Telefonica products and garnered promotional bonuses for the sales staff from partners such as Avaya, Siemens and Alcatel.
In her free time, Marcela enjoys cooking, watching movies, traveling, listening to classic rock and spending time with her family and cat, Princess Leia.

Book on your night table: I’m reading Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter from Mario Vargas Llosa, but my favorites are One Hundred Years of Solitude from Gabriel García Márquez and The Bad Girl from Mario Vargas Llosa.
